Thomas was a slender young Goth-boi with the look down pat: black hair and eyes, pale skin, and a certain androgynous beauty. Pairing this with clothing of black lace, velvet and leather, he was a paragon of the Goth look, achieving a unique look within his lifestyle. Something of a loner even among his fellow darklings, few knew much of Doubting Thomas. He was known to throw his own invitation-only parties, and the chosen few who attended spoke little of them; they just didn't want to miss the next one. He definitely made an impression, and those who understand magick get that sense of the strange about him -- a disconcerting feeling of pain, like an old injury flaring up to the surface of one's thoughts. It may have been a sign of his inner turmoil, or the more sinister side that he concealed for years from the local mage community. But when the two Ether scientists turned to the dark side, they found an ally in Thomas. With his help, they kept the rest of the chantry at bay and took their toll on the mages of Seattle, at least for awhile. But when it came time to escape the city, Thomas was left behind. The chantry mages discovered Thomas to be no slouch, an Adept of Time magicks, which he used to horrible effect on the Etherite Isaac Asimov. In the end, though, they took down Doubting Thomas, eliminating at least one of the vipers hidden in their midst. |
