Stan is a grizzled old biker and tough as nails, like most of his breed. One of the "Bakersfield Brawlers," he's part of the pack of Anarchs who moved north to Seattle some time ago. The story of where they came from and why they came to Seattle is something a few of the coterie have hints of, but precious few details. If you're into the biker scene, he's the right guy for you! Otherwise, the tattoos, leather and other such paraphenalia may turn you off. But we're vampires, we're past all that, right? Stan operated the Death's Head Motorcycle Club out of a seedy bar in downtown Seattle, and it's not for sale. They have something of a reputation in town as the preeminent gang of bikers in the area -- not that Seattle's perpetually rainy weather is great for biker gangs, but we'll get to that later. There are no Hell's Angels in town, curiouser still; the only other gang to be found is the Pagans, and they're in decline. Perhaps that could be because of Stan and his boys in the Death's Head. The club he frequents is a popular hangout for the city's Anarch population. Not that they'd just roll over and help anybody who walks in, mind you. After the fracas in California brewed up by the Wayfarers that ended with the Kuei-Jin ousted from power, some of the old Anarch powers-that-be returned to the area to try to make a Free State of it again. Although Malcolm, the Anarch leader in Seattle, didn't approve, Stan was one of those who took off to return to Bakersfield. Perhaps it's just as well that the coterie didn't stop there on their way back from Tijuana... |
