Known by many of Seattle's Kindred as one of the Toreador and of Pietro's brood, Henry Quinn's name will also be known by many an avid reader of horror stories or fan of modern horror movies. The reclusive writer has authored famous books, not a few of which have become major screenplays if not Oscar material. The very picture of a Torrie fop, one gets the impression from the way Henry behaves that it might just be an act -- a mask put on for the benefit of the masses that consume his specialized form of entertainment. Much like Anne Rice, one may suspect that Henry's fans just have to imagine him like this, and he certainly indulges them to the best of his ability. Henry's guise as a mere writer of vampire fiction was shattered not long ago, by a dying thin-blood Brujah Anarch with nothing left to lose. Although the Masquerade as a whole is broken, individual vampires still attempt to conceal their true identity. Henry is one of the unfortunate few, publicly "outed" as one of the undead. On the other hand, Henry seems to have made the best of it. With a rabid fanclub and enough money to spread around, he has many a Goth-girl and Blood Doll lining up willingly to satisfy his hunger. Though the other Kindred in town may avoid Henry like the plague, that may be to his liking, too. |
