Darksight (aka Michael Schrader)

Tradition: Hollow Ones

Darksight got his namesake from his off-color glass eye, a particularly odd shade of greenish-yellow that he usually hid under a prominently, highly decorated eyepatch when he could. No one seems to know quite how he eked out a living in the first place, although he certainly wasn't a cashier at Cinnabon. His rail-thin physique makes one wonder, though, if he wasn't surviving on angst alone.

The angst may have been too much for him to bear, however. People around him remarked on the cold chill that accompanies him, as if he were haunting the clubs as a wandering ghost instead of a living being. Maybe it was more than a mere "brush" with death when he picked up the disturbing glass eye. The mages of the Seattle chantry only came to understand how true this was after Darksight's suicide.

Apparently the result of his long-term relationship with the barabbus Doubting Thomas, Darksight slit his wrists under very questionable circumstances. Although it seemed an obvious suicide, the mages considered it murder, of a sort. Darksight seemed driven to it by the dark Cultist, and this led to the chantry taking action against Thomas for it.

One can only hope that, upon his death, Darksight avoided entering the underworld that his glass eye allowed him to see, all too well.
