Apollo & Artemis Carlisle
Tradition: Sons of Ether

Apollo and Artemis are a pair of precocious teenagers -- at least, that's how they look. But the way they behave indicates they're something much more unusual. They may look like children, but they seldom act their age. The twins are fairly recent arrivals in Seattle, brought there by Morgan and Joshua. From where is quite a story in itself.

Apollo has a restless, frantic air to him, and is a relentless tinkerer and inventor. Be very careful when he's waving his Quantum Ether-Configuration Analyzer and Transmogrification Ray Projector around! When he's not turning things into toasters, he may well be transforming a real toaster into something else. In spite of his truly impressive skill when it comes to machines and tuning them up, Apollo has something of a clean fetish. Being on the planet has been a difficult experience for him.

His sister Artemis, in contrast, is not so much energetic as...curious. Intrigued by stories of the festering mudball known as Earth, now she can explore and catalogue its strangeness firsthand...with the help of Sophie, a little robot-girl the size of a Barbie doll. Sophie seems to understand when it's safe to talk out loud, and when it's better to just be a toy. Artemis is a likeable sort, although she'll have none of that "Son of Ether" nonsense. She proudly intends to be a voice for reform in her rather sexist Tradition, social mores be damned!

Having survived their parents' turn to the dark side, the Carlisle twins are junior members of the Seattle mage chantry, which has now moved to Joshua's nightclub. If the Wayfarers ever get inside, they might have an opportunity to chat with the kids. Then again, Apollo might turn them into...something.
